Will note: Roseanna Woollen, wife, and Polly Woollen, daughter, were
executors of Edward's estate. The will was proved 26 Mar 1793.
Individual note: Will Probated 6 July 1759 naming Roseanna Woolin Bought
'Parson's Defeated' from MCallum & he must have bought it from
J&ohn Pollard who had it in 1760. Witnessed Tobias Pollard's
will in 1747. 'HD 305, 6 June 1789' sold 'Parson's Defeated'
& ' Pollard's Run'. Sold 10 June 1762 (18 OLD 164 & 168) to
Thomas Wingate part of 'Andrew's Fortune', 'Farum', 'Hampton',
'Insley's Prevention' & 'Betty's Desire'. Inherited part of
'Herring Point' from father. 18 OLD 168, 10 Jun 1762: to Thomas
Wingate 'As dogery for life 'Horse Pasture' on Fern Creek out
of Fishing Bay, Backwater River, 20 Old 207, 14 Aug 1765 sold
part of 'Hering Point' on Backwater River between W. and Edw.
Woollen 50 Acres. Sold 'Horse Pasture' in 1762.
Note: Henry Wingate gave daughter Mary Woolen 1 shilling on 2
Oct. 1764. (Who was she? Could Wm. Have married Mary Wingate
instead of Mary Pollard? migrated to Woodford Co. Ky. where he
died. In Rev. took oath Dor. Co., to Woodford Co. Ky.
